Legends 2025

No, I didn't shoot Legends 2025. But, maybe I could've?

In late 2024, I received a message from a Legends board member. He saw my submission to their media vendor form a the year before where I had said that I'd do it for free and asked if I was willing to do so this year.

Since my submission in 2023, I'd covered a few comps and I did really well. I didn't think I should do it for free. My videography and photography were some of the best in the circuit. Besides, a few of my media friends did warn me that the national comps like Legends and All Starts don't pay their vendors well. People told me not to work for free or for a discount, because that would ruin the pay system for people who depend on comps' pay.

I told the Legends board member no.

Over the course of the 2025 season, I encountered several technical issues at AKR, Minza, MCM, and my reputation as a DDN videographer was essentially ruined. The DDN board members might have thought they dodged a bulled by not hiring me.

I drove down to Charlotte with my friend Jayeesh (AKA Unleash the Yeash, UnleashDDN) and hung out with people, took some pics (see them here). Met Rishi Vinukonda and Manish Bhandari for the first time. Lent Manish an SD card lol. Drove back the next day.

I should've said yes.
